4.12 holy shit
can we get much lower? lower
so low.
We did go lower, but it's still not low enough ô_o..

Man literally said Est was seriously hurt in the dungeon because he's too weak so he had to banish him, but then goes to say Athena was seriously hurt, because she lacked HIS support magic and gotten to weak so HE had to support her to become stronger 🤣

Guess he can't support Est, because he isn't female and he would've gotten in the way of his conquest of Athena hah

Another classic Daru

Don't forget Est almost died in the first chapters just because Daru and the elf girl didn't want to reveal their powers.

The whole monologue reads like an attempt of the author to plug the plotholes and explain his bs premise for the story. "So I helped everyone else except Est and didn't bother to correct the misunderstanding that turned him into a vengeful dick who still holds a grudge - no regrets since he lucked out and found a new team. "

If anyone of you guys can, please lend us a hand in translating this series...
at our current pace it'll take us another year to finish translating this 33 chapter series :worry:
Hey, big fan of Haikai scans here. Are you for real, asking for help to translate such hated manga? Honestly I have this one in "Reading" just to mine salt and spoilers in the coments.

"He got seriously injured."
No, you guys LET HIM get seriously injured!

"It was too dangerous for Est, who lacked the power to protect himself."
And so did Athena, the weakest member of Stardust, but she gets to stay in the party despite her contribution being less than Est's, both in combat and managing skills, because she doesn't have a penis!

"Everyone's working hard and growing."
But you still haven't spoken to Athena about the misunderstanding YOU caused, which led to Est believing she wanted him gone so she could bang you instead!

"But I don't regret it."
Of course not, you have a harem of an impressionable teenager girl falling heads over heels with you and a dragon girl that already offered her virginity to you. Est was competition, that's why you don't regret banishing him!

"I think Est's power awakened because he no longer unconsciously relied on Athena."
No, you guys were holding him back. The moment he leaves the party he unlocks his full potential because he no longer had to be preoccupied with applying and reapplying buffs to the party, carrying your luggage, managing your money, swiftly selecting and handing over items appropriate to the situation and even cooking for the party. His mind was too preoccupied with multitasking in and out of the dungeons that he didn't have time to develop the skill to protect himself BECAUSE HE WAS CARRYING THE WHOLE PARTY ALL BY HIMSELF!

But when Est is no longer there to carry you guys, what happens to you? Months of dragging your face through the mud because Athena is actually too weak to fight without Est babysitting her! It was Athena who relied too heavily on Est, not the other way around!

To be fair, without their efforts the salt mine runneth dry.

Or well, empty anyway, since salt is alrea-- you know what? It doesn't matter. None of this matters.

You shouldn't be an adventurer if someone else needs to wipe your ass.

This chapter revealed Daru joined the party just to see if Athena has what it takes to push through and become the best. So, it makes sense Daru would try to support Athena to a point. That's it. She's also the figurehead of the party, so obviously she's not going anywhere. Daru is just someone invited in.

"Everyone's working hard and growing."
But you still haven't spoken to Athena about the misunderstanding YOU caused, which led to Est believing she wanted him gone so she could bang you instead!

Does it matter anymore. Est and Athena (plus the others) are strangers already, going their own ways. Est isn't going to simply forgive getting banished, nor is there any need for it. However, he already feels like he's now much better off, so it's not like Est should be regretting getting kicked out anymore, for real. It's like in RL a random employee of a company getting fired, in a way he's not happy with, but later he founds his own company, understands that's what he should have been doing all along, and succeeds exceedingly well. So, should he remain bitter about getting fired?

So, your point is that Est needed to go his own way to unlock his own potential. Seems like pretty much what I said as well.

There are different kinds of overreliances. Athena was physically relying too much on Est's support, whereas Est was too much relying on Athena's emotional support, rendering him uninterested in personal progress and personal ambitions. He wasn't really an adventurer anymore, just a servant for logistics.

So you agree; Athena shouldn't be an adventurer, Daru should have left her to support Est's growth, and the only reason he didn't was because he saw a childhood friend of the main heroin as competition for her affections?

Ohhh the NTR manga is still going!!
It's more like the English side of things is late to the party.

This story is a whole case because not only the WN was highly hated by Japanese readers, but both the LN and the manga adaptations flopped really hard, and while the author has tried writing other things since then, they have gained no traction or attention whatsoever. (And the LN adaptation of their other long-running WN, Tokyo Dungeon Tower, was pretty much dead on arrival too)

So, in short, unless a lucky break happens, their writing career is pretty much over.

A tragic story no matter where you look at it.

Maybe the author should just stop writing fantasy/dungeon like settings and try something smaller but moremeaningful, like interpersonal relationships.
Perhaps the problem lies on their inability to make either side interesting when doing both at the same time, so focusing on a single side might help them.

Athena shouldn't be an adventurer ? So adventurer have to always be strong as fuck from the first they join adventurer guild ? So what's the meaning of ranking in the guild then ? And daru should have left her to support est growth ? Who the one invited him to the party ? Is it est ? Do you think if est is op he will invite daru to the party when he's in his drunkard moment ?
