Thanks for the hard work.

But boy, I'm annoyed of the elf's character and her motives, but I can also kind of relate to her. Getting a job where I can make enough without putting in more effort than the description requires it, being able to stay in the same position without worrying about getting promoted just to keep a source of income, was something I aimed for a while ago. I learned that I like to be more active in the job I'm working, keeping myself busy, but being able to keep that position for years to come hasn't changed. I'm pretty sure something like that will happen with her after this arc ends.

This fight has given an impression the physical body isn't really important for the demon; it's life depends on other things. Maybe it's like a loose soul that can manifest a body as it likes. So, to kill it, you'd need to destroy the soul. I reckon creating the body would consume mana, though, so maybe it's not an entirely wasted effort to keep dealing physical damage.

So basically Miralia is a very dedicated psycho otaku idol fan. Her motivation to join the party was the leader's looks and demeanor, then she got quickly discouraged when the idol was having a hard time and someone else was taking her idol's attention, and now she bounced back because her idol was COOL again. :dogkek:

I’m suprised, why is rate is so low? Below 4 . Even manga with ntr/sex violence isn’t low.
Anyway thanks for chapter

The characters suck, this mage for example, she talk about not needing to put effort, so is safe to assume that when the support almost died in a mission she wasn't putting effort, one of her party members got seriously injured, but since it was not the one she cares about she didn't though about putting effort.

It's funny how they allegedly grow but at the same time they are completely dependent on Daru. What's the difference to Est again?

Est was buffing them, it was a crutch, even if Daru had to help them, they're the ones who still had to learn and adapt, to grow as a person, they'll carry it with themselves forever.

And before you say why Daru didn't do the same for Est, according to someone else he tried, Est was never able to learn how to fight or improve his powers, but for some reason manga completely cut that scenes, making everyone way more of jerks against Est

No, I think most people rightfully empathise with Est, because the writing sucks and the most realistic way to interpret it puts Dau in a really bad light ( like the whole "misunderstanding" he caused/ never resolved destroying the love relationship between Est and Athena etc, Est reputation etc) .
And what I am talking about is that in this very chapter the Elf constantly hopes for Daru to save the day, like everyone else does. So, they are still very much dependent on someone overpowered.

Daru don't need to be bad to do all the shit he did, so saying that realistically he should be interpreted in a bad light is a stretch, even in real like good people fuck up all the time for bad decisions and lack of communication.

As for the misunderstanding, it's undeniable Daru fucked up, but it wasn't out of malice, people fuck up like that all time, plus half of the problem in that case was absolutely Est, he assumed they were having sex right there in the floor in the middle of the room, Est threw a fit like a simp because he assumed the worst of the situation and ran away.

Daru isn't overpowered though, he's just more experienced, and of course elf want him to show up, they're out of their depth fighting a fucking demon, how you expect them to not want their leader to come and help?

I would argue the reason it's so easy to hate Daru isn't just due to the story, sure it's absolutely poorly written, but the manga adaptation doesn't help either, because not only it cut some parts, it also made Daru look like typical droppy eyed smug scumbag, he has a extremely punchable face.

Not quite, he literally has a power limiter in his armband that he won't release until the plot needs it.

He could've easily facilitated a situation to mend their whole relationship, even brought the party back together. Sorry but I fully disagree, his actions make him look like a typical NTR villain, not his face. Like an abusive partner that gas-lights everyone else into thinking it's their fault he inserts himself and even used Athenas weak mental state instead of instantly resolving their whole situation, which he could've done. and let'S not talk about that last chapter where he did the same to Est even when it means Athena and friends might die ( with the most ass-pully reasoning one can think of)

oh yeah, I completely forgot that asspull, but my point is still valid though, nobody knows about that, so they don't count with it.

Even if he looks bad doesn't change the fact he's  not, he didn't do anything out of malice, you guys can twist yourself into a pretzel all you want, but the story never tried to paint him as evil, much less as a ntr protagonist, the worse you can really say about Daru is that he was patronizing with Est, didn't take the situation seriously enough and acted like Est would just understand it by himself in time.

Just like it happens in real life with many people, don't assume malice when it's just stupidity.
