I just noticed we have 3 guys and only 1 girl in this story now, and I'm still enjoying it. This story is making it look like other isekai stories with harems are actually just using the harems as a crutch to distract from weak writing "here, gawk at this latest cutie #5 while we recycle the next batch of tropes". But not this, it's not even afraid to have more guys than girls as major characters. Even if we don't get other waifus in the picture Tia can comfortably carry that front by herself.

The way that Mithril is produced feels like a slight more convoluted reference to Dune, with the parallels between the Rockworms and Sandworms. Of which both of the worms a rare and extremely useful substance.
