tbh, sounds reasonable. The fact that Elf and Guy reuniting wasn't actually the end of the series, makes the need to pause and think of new ideas seem like a good plan for the Author.

I'm...not as upset about the hiatus as I should be.

Mostly because the last chapter ended in just the right way; they're finally reunited and travelling together, and while World 2 started off in an interesting twist, it just feels more like a 'and the adventure continues' kind of deal.

I mean, yeah, I would have loved more chapters, but I want them to continue this series with a clear path forward.

TBH if I was the author I'd end the series here, we already know what they are going to do this is actually a really good point to call it, right now it's one of the highest rated manga and instead of the author trying to force out new idea's that can compete with the first 21 chapters he can leave it up to imagination.

This is a good story though? It's a nice, NEW AND UNIQUE take on isekai and actually builds characters and their personalities up, also the world building and pacing is good (plus the art is pretty good too)

I thought the premise was interesting.
but then, the main story, its a bland character running the world in easy mode.
everyone likes him, he has almighty tools/skills for every occasion, he knows everything.

maybe some of it would feel more earned if MC direcly solves some of the troubles that made the first world hero team suffered
thatd feel like he actually struggled with solving the issue
that being said, i do feel like he did plenty, despite relying the fact that the hero team might have memories/nostalgia
from moments that we know they have been with MC(causing them to trust MC so easily)

but, imo the reason why some of it feels so cheesy js the fact that author skipped all of the other 99 worlds, like, swoosh, gone
and what all the skills he obtained werent mentioned until theyre needed
made MC feels like doraemon sometimes
