im sorry but Katie is not attractive enough for this level of desperate redemption the author keeps pushing.
her having a horrible childhood plague by horrible ppl is no a valid reason for attacking one of the only ppl who ever treated her well.

Totally agree, if she were another type of person she would have never been involved in that. Or at least she would have actually joined and helped Denys at the precise moment she met with him.

Kinda hard to swallow development but bah, it is what it is.
