the summary gave me some hope, chapter 1 ruined it.
it makes sense that a nation that conquered another would chop off the head of a potential rebellion via the rulership, but then what do you do with the baby snakes it had born? well you either chop off their heads too or incorporate them into your kingdom in such a way they are no longer a threat. marriage is a good example
but this manga has no pragmatism, just sadism. i have some sadistic tendencies sure but this just feels gratuitous

So many butts on fire here. This fact only makes this manga worth giving a chance. Also, the fact that the prince is an "ugly bastard" and behaves accordingly is actually intentional and there is a good reason or two for it, it just demands more than 2 brain cells to understand why (and there were some good comments addressing that), otherwise it will work as a "50 shades of grey" type of brainrot which is already abundant all over the web, so people offended by it can go read their shoujo/josei crap elsewhere.
