Not going to lie, that was a perfect villain introduction. I hope this old man, doesn't die immediately like other criminals.
I expected that twist because of the obvious era differences. Can't wait to see how our supernatural "detective" will solve this one.
He directed the above movie so he's already familiar with the mind-reading thing. Good twist at the end of that one too.Now that was a well done twist. M. Night Shamalamala could learn a thing or two.
The driver's id said "Yazaki Gorou" and the kid was called Gorou so they did let us know before the burn marks. The burn marks on his hand at the end is the giveaway
Thr passenger clenching his fist after the flashback was a serious fakeout
I do remember reading something/a post that was like "Fun fact, most ppl will walk across at least X amount of murderers in their life" "That doesn't sound very fun..." "it's fun because you weren't murdered! " , or so lolWhen you are out and about, in your interactions with strangers just realize you never know who you are dealing with. I bet we all have met people just like that taxi cab driver and will never know.
Takadanobaba is within Shinjuku which is a city within Tokyo(??) so i imagine it's a pretty big place (idk if the series is gonna go over the top for her to go to some place outta the country tho), it's probably just more of a pain for Spica to get around to track down certain ppl, train stations aside if they live in some outta the way place but i'm sure she'd have a way to track down/request a specific taxi cab too as well in the future but serial killing aside i'm sure there's someone who's hurt like, just one person and stopped outta impulse so they're not on Spica's radar or they get a 'pass' because spica has a '3 strike' ruleHow many serial killers live in this town bro 💀 💀 💀
Given the current plot twists, I have a feeling that the taxi driver will not be a serial killer criminal but will be Spica’s long term ally.Theres a possibility that the kid from the previous chapter and the taxi driver killer will end up crossing paths on next chapter.
I mean, like someone pointed, this is the first time we are told whos the real killer from the start, which is weird.
So maybe next chapter will have the chuuny kid being "cured" from his "Im a psychopath" silliness by actually meeting a real murderer and almost become his victim, just to end up being saved by Spica.
Hmm, I hadnt examinated the situation from that point of view.Given the current plot twists, I have a feeling that the taxi driver will not be a serial killer criminal but will be Spica’s long term ally.
We had some expectations that the old detective and the kid from previous chapter and the author might subverts that by using this psycho to fulfill that role. His actions also to some extent currently parallels the old detective from the previous chapter.
