That job is sketchy as fuck what are you doing girl
imagine if they're ALL serial killers and spica is the 'cabin serial killer' eliminating them all one by one
Fairly certain this is exactly what will happen, a murder mystery wouldnt work with her power after al

That man had no scar near his left eye.

I think it's safe to say that Spica doesn't decide to go somewhere unless she's pretty sure there's a killer there, so the question is: who is she hunting?

Here's my theory: What do a travel influencer, an investor, a writer, and a mountaineer have in common inside a rundown shack in the woods owned by a foreigner who is economically suffering?

Travel influencer: Scout
Investor: currency movement
Writer: planner
Mountaineer: muscle

I think this cabin is a Lupin III style hideout for a group of thieves. The muscle messed up and killed someone and got caught, now they all have some elaborate plan to ice him.

Not sure about that manager guy, but he's clearly in on it in some way. I know my theory sounds outlandish, but if I was an international thief with a crew we would all need cover-up jobs to explain or movements.
The "manager" wears layers (to cover up his muscles?), wears hat and sunglasses (to hide the scar?)
I mean the wanted poster looks like it was drawn (not a taken photo), so maybe the real murderer may look kinda different from the wanted poster.

Or maybe the wanted poster was meant to portray the mountaineer all along, however it was just a misundertanding, the guy did not do it, and the real murderer is someone else in this group, trying to push the blame onto the guy.

On your theory, I just noticed that the cheerful guy that picked Spica up isnt mentioned. My bet is that he is actually an undercover policeman, playing the aloof character to get to the bottom of the mistery. Or maybe he's just a funny silly guy who accidentally works at the villa of murderers.

if there's concealer that can cover up full on tattoos or the reverse of 'stage/actor makeup' that can make you look monsterous, i'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to find versus like a deep burn scar or like missing finger (and even then aesthetics but who knows maybe the influencer also made it up to start trouble or so. if it's not some rich 'most dangerous game' where some ppl are offered to 'hunt' others lol), if him being all black isn't a red herring, but it does stick out even if JP summers might be more 'mild' than the south here i would not wear a black top in the summer unless it was sleeveless/had nothing else

shaved hair aside i imagine the darker hair guy with the undercut is also sus (well i suppose an 'undercut' is also a type of shaved), charas with undercuts that aren't like the stereotypical 'gay'/butch lesbian look tends to be villains in some manga but i guess it depends)

or just some kinda setup that the 'influencer' is trying to do something 'viral' but it spiraled outta control

Since we're all throwing predictions out.

The manager is the first to die, Ando is witnessed having an argument so he has motive and possible suspect of other things already. Basically he's the scape goat and the true murderer is someone that hasn't been introduced yet, but is a hired killer.

The real motive is the foreign investor needs to claim insurance after an 'accident' so they can repair their finances.

Hope I win the mystery lottery.

The laws of manga indicate this will be a lodge cabin murder mystery and an unrealistic large snowstorm or mudslide will trap them with murderer. And Anbo is probably innocent.
He either becomes the first victim or is the scapegoat for a revenge murderer who finds him culpable in the thing he was accused of (likely by circumstance) im betting its the influencer this time

This arc is giving Kindaichi vibes.

Shady part time in a remote location ☑️

Other than Spica’s “OCD” making her kill the “mis button” herself, does feel like we’re overdue for her manipulating them to kill each other which I assume would’ve happened last arc
