I don't think Aoba is Spica's current target. Spica's thing is that she's only after evil people that are "untouchable" by laws; if Aoba is currently widely wanted by the police, unless there is some actual reason why he's gonna get away with it even if he's caught/ brought to the police, Spica will just let the police do their thing.
So Spica's definitely after someone else here, and even if Aoba is guilty of the mentioned murders on the wanted poster, there is still someone else here that made Spica went for this summer job.

That being said I'm not sure the copse we saw is the manager tho, as it was pretty far away, and then the writer immediately suggested everyone to go back inside (there was no double checking). Maybe the copse was Aoba and the manager's goal is to kill him and take his place. Or maybe the injured person is still very alive and could be saved if received medical care in a timely manner, yet will be left bleeding to death cuz everyone go back indoors following the advice of the writer.

Older guy is also sus, if the '3 daughters' weren't actually victims, it's not impossible for a serial killer to also have a 'normal' family like the taxi driver guy did but dang didn't expect spica to reveal it so casually unless she touched the undercut boy already and know he's 'trustworthy' if not just seeing his reaction

It's good to get rid of 'active' threats but wonder if we'll see more 'cold case' killers like the first couple arcs

"overseas" sounds like human trafficking. and you'd think a safe wouldn't be at the cabin or off site but i guess if it's in the middle of nowhere and has like weapons, and not just money, understandable

I think it's implied he was closer to spica's age/more of a 'boss' than a friend, but yeah someone crying over their boss dying would be more shocking 8D; or similar to tenma but actually able to be manipulated as opposed to having a serial killer fixation
