Are you trying to be deliberately obnoxious? You seem to be not following the chapter naming patterns set out by the mangaka. Why? Like I gave you the title with an explanation, and you still messed it up. Wtf?
if you want to criticize someone's work and have them respond positively, how about you respect them first instead of being condescending? You might think you're "defending the artist's work", but for someone so concerned about how the right words come across, you turned what could have been a constructive piece of criticism and an actual interesting conversation about translation into what reads like a perceived adult trying to berate a child. When given an explanation as to their train of thought, your response was to ask if they were being deliberately obnoxious. And then complain that "I gave you the right answer and you still messed it up". And you're saying you weren't being rude? Who talks to people like that?
Even if your initial comment had its merits, had I been on the other end of the conversation, especially after your second comment, I wouldn't be inclined to listen to anything else you say just because it didn't feel like you wanted to help someone grow or "protect the integrity of the work" as much as you wanted to shame them for not knowing as much as you do, all the while expecting people to listen to you/do what you told them to regardless of how you said it.
And I'm definitely not trying to be rude to you in return. I'm pointing it out to you because it's worrisome if you can't see how rude you were being in your messages. You seem to care about the original work and I would love to hear your input on it, just not at the cost of letting another translator be made to feel like shit for no good reason.

That wasn't even me giving Jasper constructive criticism. They were just outright wrong. Same with the title of the current chapter. I don't care who is more knowledgeable. I'm rather sociable in person, but I'm not afraid to call out nonsense when I see it. In this case, it just looks like Jasper is trolling.

Wtf... i was still expecting a less troublesome end... thought Houjou would back down, the bully would quiet down and Aoi would be free to play around with her precious toy happy ever after. Thats when i realized its completed but also is not completed. The series finalized publishing but hasnt been fully scanlated. Kind of annoying. After all ive tought 30 was the last chapter.
