The chf is a POS who intentionally mislead the MC into thinking she was an easy girl. He also found out that they were secretly dating, and literally said "Wanna have a 3 way". He is a really bad guy.

The mc isn't a playboy anymore, but he did have a past of being a playboy. He is a good guy, and faithful. The only event that has happened was a girl at a culture festival forcing a kiss on him. Literally like blindsided him with it, and he quickly pushed her away and made it very clear he was not okay with it.

Also I say chf but the guy isn't really a chf he is more of an acquaintance than anything else. He just saw an emotionally weak and distant girl who isolated herself, and took advantage of that. They were never dating and didn't really get intimate. They just acted out scenes in ero. Its even stated in the manga that he never went far with her at all.

Don't root for a character just because thet are a chf especially when you have no idea what type of person they are. People need to stop reading romcoms with tunnel vision and actually enjoy characters for what they are and not the trope they represent

Ic, I saw people talking about childhood friends and just assumed their relationship would be as per the norm. If he's a piece of shit and just an acquaintance, then it's justified. I'm just your avg childhood friend shipper so when I saw childhood friends involved, I thought it's one of those manga.
