😢. Oh man I'm actually crying. Hachi determination to save Maruru is commendable. And at least Coco has a happy ending himself. Actually relieved that the confrontation with Roku doesn't end too badly for Maruru.

Oof. What a series, from a seemingly light setting this one sure dives into the hard realities. The feeling when a cat vanishes is brutal, and the delight of a hoped for return even stronger, but more often its the slow fading of hope. As much as anything though it really hurts to never know for sure, so real bittersweet feel here.

This is making me sob so much. I wish I could adopt every cat I see to give them all happy homes. Coco has a home but no home for these two. Very bittersweet
