Just noticed, this is the first time I've ever seen an elf design with pierced earrings at the tips of her ears.

It's an interesting question; would you guys eat the meat of an animal that's eaten other humans?

I think I'd be fine with it, and I would probably even taken an element of satisfaction knowing that we're doing the same thing to the animal that it had done to others.
Though maybe I'd be more critical of the taste? Like I could taste the flavor of humans it'd eaten in its flesh? Gross...

I see it that it's like figs. Wasps bury themselves in figs lay eggs and some die inside and the plant kinda eats them. There isn't any wasp left when you're eating it but like...it's still kinda the same. So I'm applying the same logic here. Not sure if it would be any different with an animal, So 🤷🏽‍♀️. I don't really understand what's morally wrong about it?

I live in a rural part of the USA, and I know most people wouldn't consider eating a large cat (tiger/lion/cougar) and it's mostly not for the same reasons that they won't eat a house cat; they also wouldn't consider eating a wolf for exactly the same reasons they would never eat a dog.
But most would eat a shark, wild boar, or alligator; all three of which could, potentially, eat a human.

But I know all of that changes as soon as I leave my home nation; this dude has changed fuckin WORLDS.

I think it's kind of a wild question for a Japanese author to explore, though! Like, very seriously.

Spoiler: Think about it this way

... the Japanese fishing industry, during my lifetime, was doing commercial whaling, private whaling, private dolphin hunting, private seal hunting, massive commercial tuna drag-netting (catches entire pods of dolphin, and even small whales, and they drown in them), and regular hunting for octopus (hell, manga still act like eating octopus and dogs is normal! WTAF).

Even further, is that all happened in less a 30 year span; all that went away, and a lot of it was in the 1980s when the first real wildlife and environmental legislation were put out by the UN, with the USA's full support.
From 1974-2000, both of the parties of the US political system, and multiple members of the UN worked together; it was crazy, but anyway...
Since it had such wide support, these honestly horrible practices were put to a stop in just the late 70s to early 90s.
which means that most of South East Asia was forced to stop doing these basic economic practices at commercial scale... which fucked up their industry, pretty badly.
The new industry has either survived or firmly taken hold, but it would have been very touchy in a Japanese fishing community until probably about 2008-2012.

So, really; it wasn't been that long.

Everything that eats man, thinks; they have to think, if they want one of us!
So, just try to respect the game; that's not hard.
