If Teru loses, I will be kinda miffed. More than anything, just the constant "WE GATHERED THE STRONGEST" but then little down the road is some dude way stronger that no one knew, like cmon man.

The power scaling is nonsensical, but hey nothing in this series has made sense so far. Every established character jobs to the new villains. Then they get stronger. And job again

He should be irrelevant. He literally got added 2 chapters in, while mc and teru fought the best fighters in all of asia and russia combined and won. And Teru has only gotten stronger since. He should be able to put this kid in the ground in 5 seconds flat. MC getting with a girl whos brother is some kinda martial art god undetected by everyone in some secret organization? c'mon.

Teru using all the accumulated knowledge from so many genius fighters proves he is a genius as well. I hope this isn't an asspulled loss for him.

This may be a hot take considering it is the premise of the entire manga, but I don't actually care if Tsuyoshi fights or not. In fact, it is more entertaining to watch Teru and the others fight because you truly don't know the outcome. I like that Tsuyoshi's friends are trying to keep him from fighting in their own way, and I like the scenes where Tsuyoshi tries and fails to live a normal life.

I mean, "gathered the strongest" but all of the figher are acquaintances of the people that gather the fighters. For the last match: Takeshi & Nikita : Sayoko; Teru, Ainosuke, & Odamaki : Iwamuro.

And it's mentioned that Okouchi influence only goes in the main island. So it makes sense that there might be someone strong go undetected in small islands like Okinawa. And it's not like there are tons of them, Tobio's underlings are chumps compared to Kinji and Yosuke, who lost to Teru on a 2-on-1 fight.

For "reserve" the author still have secret organizations, another countries top fighters, and another country's secret organizations (and more).
