BETTER CALL SAUL
It is likely been watched by many here already... MAYBE, I watched it after Breaking Bad, and personally I like Better Call Saul more. Opinions aside, you've got a 63 episode long series. It's considered slow by many; I'm the kinda guy who enjoyed the Extended Version of the Hateful Eight, so I didn't mind. You've got whole sequences without dialogue, and there's lots of subtly. It's not as violent or intense as Breaking Bad, but the further things go, the darker things do get. It has humor, drama, a little action and lots of emotional moments. NOTE the Trailers (Except for the Season 5 trailer) do not do the show justice, it gives off the wrong impression.
Anyways, If you haven't watched Breaking Bad, it's your choice whether you watch it first, after, or at all. Better Call Saul is a prequel but, also functions as it's own contained story for the most part. Watch before and Breaking Bad's world is that much bigger, watch it after and you learn quite a lot of sad things. Your choice.
That said, I'd like to reiterate it's a very SLOW Burn. It's more character-driven than anything.
OH RIGHT: I should give a synopsis of sorts, sorry. The Story follows Jimmy McGill, a former (and sometimes still) Conman now Lawyer who's trying to scrape by legitimately. But, with a struggling practice, a reluctant brother with a "Condition", and a world poised to reward the behavior he's trying to stop, it's only inevitable he leans back into who he was, and once he sets off down that "Bad Choice Road", things just get worse, AND not just for him, but those around him. It also follows another character in semi-equal footing; I won't give a name, but this character's an ex-cop who's just moved into town, trying to keep clean and reconnect with family but, he too is presented with roadblocks aplenty guiding him toward darker paths.
