Reading that section made me think of Gengen Kusano's quote in the Yuri Made Me Human interview where he said no one likes a dry-ass hard SF infodump, but they get more interested in it when it's a conversation between two women. Possibly the only reasonable observation he's made about writing lmao.

The manga is on hiatus again next month (the pattern seems to be three months on, one month off), so you're gonna have to sit with this cliffhanger for a while. The translator note with the dust-cloth clouds was fantastic! It's really cool that the manga seems to take these things realistically. And while dry-ass hard sci-fi infodumps are very cool on their own, it definitely is better when its done through two women talking.

Thank you! It's definitely one of the things that I'm appreciating about this story, taking an abstract realm of knowledge like gas giant atmospheric chemistry and making it into a domain that people live in and understand intimately as a means of survival. It's really cool.
