I hope everything goes relatively peacefully in this isekai, it seems very promising so far!

Just realised that the reason the previous Saint didn't like airships was probably because she lived through the war and remembered the air raids.

After reading the first two chapters I thought this is interesting. So I went and read the novel. And now I decided to drop this one. Somehow the story just not sitting well with me

Thank you, everyone for the TRANSLATION! <3

Eagerly awaiting the next release! <3

@orp that's odd, since I got the impression that the previous Saint was hundreds of years prior, but if only from WWII, that would change matters markedly! 😂

Urg, yeah, living through the Firebombings would definitely impact a person. Though, not necessarily. It seemed like part of the issue was all off the previous saints' young age. The current ones were adults.

@TheDragonLord
Maybe I missed something, but I thought she was old, but only like normal human old. It would make sense for someone who was a child during the war to pass away around this time. And it makes sense to summon younger people who would adapt better and end up living longer in the new world.

@orp Part of the issue: the story doesn't specify what happened to the previous saints. Do they die of old age, thus requiring new ones to be !summoned, or do they simply summon them at intervals and send them back after a certain point?

It wasn't made perfectly clear in the story, which in my case as a reader, is part of the issue. It also doesn't help when the people speaking have order of magnitude longer lives, and thus making them capable of having "met" the past saint. In other words, it could be a 300+ year timeframe.

Also, it sounded like it requires a HUGE amount of energy. Do they have to collect Saint Stones (do the gods give them at sporatic intervals), or do they have a finite number of charges, or does it recharge, or are there unlimited numbers of charges for summoning saints? That's also an unknown. The stones were implies to be different that even the ones that the Saints themselves make, ergo… 😂
