Romance manga with a build up to a confession at the end? It's not impressive, it's cliche and boring and annoying. I don't understand what it is about the Japanese that they consider the confession to be the finish line to a story, rather than the beginning, but maybe it's because they're literally a nation filled with 30+year old virgins.
Also, I'm so tired of self-cucking soyboy MCs. Oh, look, a beautiful 22-year-old perverted girl wants you to screw her... but you're not enough of a man to bang her, nor enough of a man to kick her out. It's not realistic, it's repetitive, and it stops being funny after the XXXth time it happens. Unless the author's goal is to have an unlikable male protagonist, anyways. Real men don't put up with shit they don't want. They wouldn't have a girl constantly sexually harassing them on a regular basis. Enough of this wishy-washy stuff.
Unlikable MC: Oh my, whatever shall I do? My beautiful maid wants sex but I'm just a young boy! I'll now get sexually propositioned a hundred times in a row because comedy!
Likable MC: Option 1: Fuck off. Option 2: Fuck on.
