(I mind you this review is as far as chapter 2 goes: maybe it changes down the line)
I even doubted for a moment if it was really a light novel adaptation or if maybe it was really an original manga, because of how natural the flow of events felt. I can sense this was well adapted, even tho I haven't read the light novel. It really felt like they were telling you the story properly and not throwing a bad summary at you, which is the problem with most light novel adaptations (they just shovel information into the manga and if feels so anti natural)
Also, the characters are very interesting. The main character is a very imaginative and a bit impulsive, but really sharp and thoughtful mc, and is not boring at all. I won't go as far as to say it's original and not generic, but it surely is a character you want to read about. And the main girl, she really has a personality!!! It's not just an archetype, not "shy", not "tsundere", she somehow feels real. Both mc's do, they don't just feel like your npc generic protagonists. And on top of having a real personality, they even fit so well together. They really are that "power couple" the backstory tells us, and look like they're gonna be fun to watch
I may be exagerating with a review this long, but this manga felt so geniune for me, that I had to expose all of my thoughts. Maybe not something new, or refreshing (altho a bit, yes), or whatever, but it has substance, that "something" that makes you think "this is worth it". I really hope that it keeps up with this level, because if it does, it will be a story worth reading, and not just a cheap light novel adaptation which feels heavy to read bc it's a 40 pages bad scripted summary of a novel.
