Something for people to understand going into this story is that it is a very well implemented alien story. Most aliens in many stories are basically "other cultured humans" - humans have a lot of cultural differences, but there are still a lot of things that we experientially have in common. But this alien is truly alien.

The primary conflict is that the MC continues to haphazardly project his conception of how things should be going from the viewpoint of a human onto a being that doesn't even remotely share a human perspective, chapter after chapter. The way his girlfriend perceives human concepts like compassion, hatred, death or duty are all completely different. If he knew how truly alien she was... hehe, well, you'll see...

Haru and Noah/Classrep2.0 watch over humanity until they destroy themselves and 'Harulings' come in and replace them in every feasible way: genetically, culturally and spiritually. Humanity has become appropriated in the fullest extent possible. The end sequence of 'a day in the life of humanity 2.0' is a cycle that is not too different than exchanges past humans 1.0 would have had, but there is still some lingering genetic memory of Haru and Noah's contribution to the present drama... and bit of their story in every clumsy confession and flirty glance.

In reality we may not really know without the author telling us, sadly the most unfortunate kind of storytelling.

I feel like this story started really strong but the ending was kinda eh.

To me this series started off strong, but it started to feel really rushed up to the fairly lackluster ending. There was a lot of potential and different places the story could have explored, but none of it really mattered in the end. I liked the art style however. I could go on, but I'd be exploding a dead horse at this point.

It's a solid 5.5/10 for me.

I didn't saw anything coming at all AT ALL this gets pretty dark real quick that even when my room light is on its still so dark even when the sun is shining its still so dark

Lesson: if theres a light theres a shadow in everything dark is created we create dark using light we eliminate dark using light but then a new dark will start the real lesson here is history will repeat itself and this manga show us that
