Yup, and let’s face it, Ueno is not equipped well enough to reprogram her. He doesn’t have the looks, body, experience, technique, or the dick required to do the job. Plus, he shouldn’t have to compete with the memory of her ex in the first place.

Above everything he needs someone who makes him feel secure and clearly Moka isn’t that person. Ueno thought that she was but that kiss hopefully made her nature clear.

I think Ueno is clearly shellshocked and confused as all hell on why his friend, the person who confessed her feelings to him, is making out with her ex in front of him. It does compound the situation on how Ueno would reply to Moka's confession. Ueno does see himself as undateable due to his programming. He could say no to her, thinking they are both not ready to enter a relationship together.

Once Ueno realize Moka is just like him, he will admit the truth to her as she will to him. Now, will Ueno and Moka date after sharing their vulnerabilities? Uh...I can see a scenario where they will enter a relationship after the trip, where they will date partly to keep themselves accountable. If that happens, how the relationship will work out will depends on if they're sexually compatible because if they're not, their relationship will crumble due to one of them relapsing.

its only NTR if the main character, the one you should empathize with, gets cucked. Otherwise every hentai porking a housewife would be NTR. Also it's not the same case since this happened after Moka confessed which makes her kissing the ex back an actual betrayal.

The whole monologue about how she's serious about Ueno right before she got off kissing him back in spite of her will makes it classic NTR. Like she can't HELP HERSELF from tongue wrestling the guy because her body gets so turned on by him that its trumps her rational choices. Which places Ueno in the position of the cuck. First, Manaka isn't in love with Ueno-kun. Second, Manaka was only pressured by her university friend to confess her feelings quickly; she only did it because her friend forced her. Third, she has sexual experience; when she had sex with her ex-boyfriend, she forgot about her problems, while Ueno is a virgin and has no experience. The sad thing is that Ueno-kun has been alone his whole life. He has no friends, no first love, and his family only includes his grandmother, but he couldn't express his feelings. His mother is only focused on her work and doesn't care about him. He only had those three stalkers in his life, nothing else. And most importantly, Ueno-kun isn't in love with Manaka. Their problems are the same but very different. Monaka already knows what pleasure is, and Ueno-kun doesn't. They can resolve their issues, but if they become intimate, they'll have a problem. Ueno-kun is the one who lets himself be dominated, and Manaka is the one who likes to be dominated. That's why it's better for them to be friends because they have the same problem, but not a couple for the moment.
