It’s not Ueno’s business to solve Sagawa’s issue. It’s not like it can realistically be solved anyways without her broken heart. She’s in love with her best friend who isn’t in love with her and like Ueno, her final option to have sex with Chisaki and hope that she likes it enough to fall in love with her failed, there is nothing more that can be done.

As for Ueno, I see it'll be really hard for him to just give up on what he had with the gang.
With Tsubomi. We see some lingering regret while he was thinking about their strange form of friendship. A really fond memory for him as we can see.

I'm glad i was wrong, my faith in ueno-kun has increased, but this was the easiest barrier to go through, i believe him and blondie are like sexual soulmates.
But i believe in him now, Best ending is if he and Manaka stay together and blondie moves on with her life, Unrealistic-good ending would be a 5-way harem with Manaka becoming a dominatrix.

The best ending is him and Manaka staying together, all that needs to happen is honest communication between them, I think they'll be fine.
