I've read in the comments that it was officially announced that the series was coming to an end. Anyone have a source?
I see two possibilities:
- This is just a redux of Ueno with Chisaki. It allows Moka, and perhaps the ex, to finally move on. However, that seems rather limp for this place in the story. Especially if the series is ending soon. A lackluster ending.
- I could see Moka having an epiphany when resisting the ex. Which for this series is her getting very turned on by being a dom. Thus the newly awakened dom Moka has an already "developed" partner with Ueno. An easy, and disappointing, ending.
- The only thing worse would be "a few years later" time skip to gloss over all the messy details.
- This is a redo of Ueno with Chisaki. But this time the person in question fails to overcome. Moka regresses, or less negatively accepts that Ueno isn't right for her. Either way, she doesn't move on but moves out. Chisaki, for the first time, doesn't "bully" Ueno but comforts him, allowing for one final, degenerate scene. A rushed ending.
But all that's if the author has declared that there's only a few chapters left.
Otherwise the author could technically do anything. Moka wants to learn to dom Ueno and gets her (superior) sister to
help. Or Chisaki. Or just joins the trio. Or replaces the yuri girl. Or aliens invade and in order for the trio to use their magical girl powers they need to bully Ueno.
