I'll give my thoughts at a later time. Too busy all day yesterday to do the usual summary.
This seems like a really good development for both girls, it really does seem like there won't be any twists and turns but we still got the hotel to get through and although Chisaki seems fine with Kanako also doing sexual things with Ueno that doesn't mean Tsubomi will have the same reaction.Chapter 72 is out and is a continuation of last chapter. How will it play out? Read and the chapter and summary to find out.
The story picks up with Kanako wanting to talk to Chisaki about Ueno. Chisaki suggested a different scenery before Kanako reveals the truth so the two decided to walk around. While they were walking, it started to rain again which caused Kanako to bring out her umbrella. Chisaki held it to shield the two from the rain (how romantic) and then asked her what is going on. Kanako stepped out of the umbrella and admitted to Chisaki that just like her, she was tormenting Ueno and taking advantage of Ueno's sexual desires when Chisaki wasn't around. Chisaki was a little shocked before asking Kanako why she did that.
Kanako revealed that she only bullied Ueno to redirect his sexual desires from Chisaki to her. A confused Chisaki asked Kanako why she decided to reveal this information now. Kanako said she didn't want to lie to Chisaki anymore as she has grown to hate it. Kanako continued by saying that as long as she continues lying to Chisaki, she can't truly face herself. Kanako has grown tired of hurting people and doesn't want to drag other people down for her self-gratification.
While Kanako wallows around in guilt, she became cold due to standing around in the rain. Chisaki gave Kanako her jacket and the two decided to take shelter from the rain.

Kanako asked Chisaki why she isn't angry at her. A sympathetic Chisaki apologized, saying that it is both her and Ueno's fault that Kanako was suffering all this time. Kanako tried to disagree, but Chisaki told Kanako that the blame should reside on Chisaki and Ueno and not Kanako as there is no reason why Kanako should keep having awful thoughts in her head. Kanako relented and then steeled herself before confessing to Chisaki properly.

Chisaki thought the confession was too sudden before correcting herself. Chisaki properly told Kanako that she can't be her lover. Chisaki apologized but Kanako accepted her answer by thanking Chisaki for being her friend, as always. The chapter ends with Chisaki embracing a sobbing Kanako, saying that she should be the one thanking Kanako for being a loyal friend.

Just like how Moka reacted after hearing Ueno's confession, Chisaki acted surprisingly cool when Kanako revealed that she also took advantage of Ueno's sexual desires. Chisaki displayed zero signs of anger or jealously upon hearing this revelation. Instead, Chisaki showed compassion of her friend and tried to redirect Kanako's guilt so she can heal properly. I had some speculations that if the bully trio learned about their sexual relationship with Ueno, the revelation might splinter the group but after this chapter, I'm confident they'll stick together by series end. I bet once Kanako and Chisaki learned about Tsubomi's practice sessions with Ueno, they'll probably laugh at Tsubomi's efforts and help Tsubomi find a boyfriend so she can lose her virginity properly, lol.
As for Kanako, I'm pleased she properly confessed and I'm pleased that Chisaki rejected her properly instead of just apologizing for not returning Kanako's feelings. With Kanako accepting Chisaki's answer, Kanako can stop her self-destructive nature and have a healthier mind once again. With that said, I'm not sure what was Kanako's strategy of making Chisaki fall for her in the grand scheme of things. After they had the one-night stand together, Kanako told Chisaki that she will try harder to win Chisaki over.

But later on in the story, Kanako admitted that she never made a serious attempt in doing so...

Instead, Kanako continued her campaign of trying to control Ueno's desires until she hurt someone that she didn't want to hurt. Even if Kanako managed to get the results she wanted with Ueno, trying to win Chisaki's heart was a task she had little chance in succeeding...ah well....
At least with the confession, Chisaki might be more willing to move on from using Ueno as her sexual outlet. Seeing Moka and Kanako, her two friends, getting hurt because of her lust does sour her desire to continue bullying Ueno. We'll see once she finally talks to Ueno to settle things once and for all.
So that's Kanako's arc closed following Tsubomi's. Now what's left is whatever happens in the hotel and Chisaki's resolution. Am I wrong to think at this point that, with everything that has happened in this manga, it isn't out of the realm of possibility that Moka and Ueno accept they're sexually incompatible but they do still love each other, so Moka gets the (willing) cuck chair so Ueno and Chisaki continue their ordeal?Chapter 72 is out and is a continuation of last chapter. I'm honestly not convinced Ueno and Chisaki will end up together, for now I still believe Ueno and Moka can work it out.So that's Kanako's arc closed following Tsubomi's. Now what's left is whatever happens in the hotel and Chisaki's resolution. Yeah and honestly that would be no far to Moka unless she has some sorta hidden cuck fetish which I doubt cause nothing seems to imply that.To answer your question, three people compromising having a relationship like that is hard to imagine. Moka needs to have an open mind and big heart to get on the cuck chair for Ueno's sake. Also, it does seem to imply that Moka and Ueno might never break their programming if Ueno is still hard coded to only get aroused when being bullied by Chisaki by series end.
Honestly, right up to the tennis camp arc, I was still entertaining the idea of maybe Chisaki and Ueno will be in a proper and heathy S&M couple relationship by series end. I've read a couple of bully-victim romance stories and smut works so I know authors can definitely make that type of relationship work out. However, at this late stage of the story, it would be a hard sell to make it work now. Ueno's relationship with Chisaki is currently at rock bottom. Maybe once Ueno hears what Chisaki have to say to him that he may see her in a better light. I think at the bare minimum, Chisaki and Ueno won't be in an antagonistic relationship anymore by series end.
Tsubomi winning by default (everyone else dropped out of the race) would be funny and I do feel she'll end up with a boyfriend by the end (maybe Shaggy) but until proven otherwise I still think Ueno x Chisaki is the ending and him and Moka are simply too incompatibleYeah and honestly that would be no far to Moka unless she has some sorta hidden cuck fetish which I doubt cause nothing seems to imply that.
I do hope for a good ending with Chisaki and Ueno, it's clear she doesn't hate him and he might not exactly hate her. It seems like everyone in this story is handling all these crazy revelations responsibly, but I think this kind of approach between Ueno and Chisaki might need a bit more spice.
I feel this hotel scene is gonna be make or break for Ueno and Moka's relationship, and if they can't get each other aroused then they will at least remain good friends. I also realized if that happens and Chisaki breaks off all association with Ueno, that could leave Ueno in a bad place mentally if he comes to accept that's the only way he can be sexually aroused. Granted he could always have a relationship with Tsubomi and I know alot of people here have been excited by that idea
That's kind of what I am leaning towards also, but I have a feel Chisaki might be aromantic, she doesn't want a partner, she wants a toy. She is content with her friendships and isn't looking for anything deeper, atleast nothing suggests otherwise. We might see another side of her as the series progresses, but she also seems to be the type of person who really looks out for those she cares for. IDK how much she actually cares when it comes to Ueno as she hasn't displayed any kind of affection or protectiveness over him, but maybe if he confesses he can't be normal no matter how hard he tries, she might decide to take responsibility for him since she also gets her own fetish out of it. But that would also be kind of a bad ending for Ueno, because he DOES want something more than just physical it seems.Tsubomi winning by default (everyone else dropped out of the race) would be funny and I do feel she'll end up with a boyfriend by the end (maybe Shaggy) but until proven otherwise I still think Ueno x Chisaki is the ending and him and Moka are simply too incompatible

I mean, the hotel trip should give us a good indication about the state of Ueno and Moka's relationship and in turn, that will probably factor into how this talk Chisaki and Ueno are going to have will go, if Ueno and Moka's hotel trip is a success then if Chisaki confesses her feelings to Ueno beyond viewing him as a plaything then he's more likely to reject here although saying that even if the hotel trip is a disaster I can still see Ueno rejecting Chisaki.Ultimately, we have to wait patiently for the results of the hotel scene.
Heh, I hope the result doesn't remain ambiguous until after Chisaki talks to Ueno properly.
Based on the author talking about chapter 74 having some extra pages, I hope that will be it in full.Ultimately, we have to wait patiently for the results of the hotel scene.
