Chapter 47 is out and currently free to read. For those who want a summary.
MLT warning. What I say may not be 100% accurate.
Manaka's two friends suggested that Manaka should write a love letter to Ueno to confess her feelings to him. Manaka initially dismissed the idea because she's too embarrassed and doesn't want to make her relationship with Ueno awkward during the tennis summer camp training. However, once Manaka got home, she decided to write the love letter anyway, lol.
There's a brief flashback of a younger Manaka about to deliver a love letter to her now current ex, but she stopped herself when she caught him talking to another female classmate.
Back to present time, Ueno saw Manaka waiting for her train to arrive to go home since her bike needs repairs. Ueno sudden appearance spooked Manaka, causing her love letter slipped out of her bag. Since Ueno noticed the letter, Manaka hastily gave him the letter and told him he can wait until after the training camp is over to give her a response before running off. Ueno opened the letter and was obviously surprised to see how much Manaka likes him. However, it also caused him to remember his recent sex sexcapades with the bully trio which made Ueno feel down.
At the day of the training camp trip, Ueno and Manaka encounter each other again at some bus stop. Manaka apologized to Ueno for handing him the letter and told him to just enjoy the training camp for the time being, which Ueno readily agrees. Meanwhile, a few tennis members of the other university that's also going on the trip were checking out the girls from Ueno's tennis club. At the final page, there's also one mysterious member from the other university who wasn't fully revealed but all signs points to that person being Manaka's ex, Riku.

It is only a matter of time before Manaka's ex returns to the story and of course, he arrives when Manaka's and Ueno's feelings towards each other are in flux. This will be a major test for Manaka if she truly got over her ex. She may have feelings for Ueno, but Manaka still masturbates to her old memories of her ex. If Manaka hook-ups with her ex during the trip for old time sakes, not only that will destroy her maiden reputation in this series, but it will also hurt Ueno's goal in trying to stop being a masochist.
For Ueno, I can't see him accepting Manaka's confession without first revealing to Manaka that he is a masochist, and that he trying to stop being a masochist in order to better himself. (Bonus points if he also admits his history and his relationship with his bullies.) If Manaka and Ueno managed to get into position to have sex during the trip, it will be the ultimate test if he can cum during sex without being bullied. If Ueno can do that, Ueno is one step closer in breaking his programming for good.
The author mentioned in a tweet that the reading experience will change for a while at this point on in the story, so I expect a lot of drama during this arc...
