So my thinking is that Riku will be used as ntrbait, I don't believe for a single moment Moka will regress, not after the comedy moment we've just been handed, he's going to talk to Moka and Ueno will get nervous about leaving her alone with him it will probably look like for atleast 2 or 3 chapters that he wants to get Moka back but then he will reveal he's moved on from her and is sorry for how he treated her, that being said, in the same way Ueno admitted that he won't ever forget about the pleasure he got from Chisaki, we might get the same reveal for Moka, but like Ueno she won't let her past define her anymore.

More or less how I expect a hypothetical Riku return would look like. I do wonder how many chapters the mangaka would dedicate his return because I had imagined this series ending around chapter 85 but now, I'm not sure if this series will stop at volume 10 or 11.

I think I understood it for the most part, Riku is still sleeping around and is still thinking of Moka to the point of literally stalking her and the chapter closed with him interrupting her and hugging her from behind while Moka was on the phone, presumably to Ueno? I didn't translate it with OCR since I got the gist of it, anyway I still maintain the belief that Moka isn't going to regress and the author is just baiting us with this, if anything, Riku confronting Moka this soon just means it will be settled quickly.

Chapter 82 is out and free to read. Riku is back and as the title of the chapter suggests, his behavior didn't seem to change for the better. Read the chapter and the summary to find out.
The chapter begins with a flashback of Riku and Moka talking about some band's new album and good it is. Moka wants to see them live with Riku agreeing. The flashback ends with present day Riku lying in bed with another woman while muttering his ex's name.
The next day, more or less, one of Riku's fuck buddies from the tennis club noticed Riku walking by and stopped him. The fuck buddy asked Riku why he stopped showing up at the tennis club. Riku didn't have any reason why and the scene shifts to him getting a blowjob by the fuck buddy in a bathroom.
After they were done, the fuck buddy called out Riku for thinking about his ex-girlfriend, Moka instead of her. Riku apologized and continued on by saying that he wants to see Moka again one more time to properly apologize. The fuck buddy gives an ominous look at Riku before the scene transition to Riku listening to lyrics from the band mentioned previously in this chapter.

Damn. Stalker angle is not the direction I expected from Riku even though it does make sense for him to do it. You thought he would move on due to Ueno's and the fuck buddy's words and he would return as a more composed person. Instead, Riku reinforced with his obsession of getting Moka and turning back the clock in his life.

Moka grabbed her phone, obviously startled about seeing Riku again. Riku asked Moka to give him one more chance and asked her if she's dating Ueno. Moka said it's none of his business.
The conversation then shifted to the two talking about the band Zenya Club. Riku brought up how much he liked Zenya Club's new song and how Moka preferred the older version of the band. Riku continued on by saying how he and Moka used to debate bands all the time and how she is the only one who could talk to him about that.
This leads Riku to tell Moka that he knows she likes the old Riku better and he is willing to permanently change back to the Riku Moka used to love. Moka responded by saying that some time ago, she went to a live concert with her best friend and became immense in it. She went on by mentioning how much she changed from both music and romance during the few months due to the complex situations she had to deal with. Riku asked her if he is included in those complex thoughts which Moka doesn't deny. However, Moka told him there are broken individuals (the bully trio noticeably) that she wants to face more than him. They may be awful people but unlike Riku, they accept their own weakness and because of that, they are truly capable of facing others. That's why Moka refuses to lose to them.
Riku became upset hearing Moka's words and grabbed hold of Moka and professing his love. Moka slapped him, telling him to go away but Riku refused to let go.
That's when Ueno appeared, riding on a bike. It is revealed that he was still on the phone call with Moka the whole time. Ueno then wedged himself between Riku and Moka. Almost out of breath from rushing to get to Moka, Ueno asked Riku what he is doing.
Riku told Ueno that he is taking Moka back (obviously). Ueno followed by up by asking Riku if he is stalking Moka. Riku admitted that he knows what he is doing is wrong, but he couldn't control himself to see Moka one more time. Ueno scolded Riku by saying that he should be considerate in facing Moka while considering her feelings. Riku scoffed, mocking Ueno's high and mighty tone.
Riku admitted that he's unable to enjoy pure, straightforward feelings anymore as there some kind of love that cannot work that well. Ueno wondered in his head if Riku is programmed/codependent as well. A delirious Riku called out Moka, telling her she shouldn't act proud if a kiss from him wouldn't smitten her. Riku tried to grab Moka to take her away, but Ueno grabbed his arm, telling him that getting in Moka's way is something he can't forgive and told Riku to stop it already. Riku made a comment mentioning round 2 is about to start when a police car rolled up behind him.
Turns out Ueno called the police beforehand, lol. Ueno flagged the cops down and a stunned Riku was escorted to the police car. A relieved Ueno asked Moka if she's fine which she is. Moka recalled what Riku told her previously about how a kiss from him would still affect her and told Ueno that while she may be changing, she hasn't changed fully yet. That's why she wants her and Ueno to do their best together, which Ueno agrees.

Got to give respect for Ueno for rushing ASAP to protect Moka and calling the cops beforehand. Who knows what Riku had in mind before the police rolled in. I doubt this will be the last time we'll see Riku and I'm sure he will take extra and more dangerous precautions in handing both Ueno and Moka in their next encounter with him...
I'm glad to see Moka determined to change who she is. I'm also pleased to see Moka expressing more of her thoughts about the bully trio and how see them as rivals. Hopefully we'll have a long-waited conversation with Moka and bully trio before the story ends.

Yeah, Riku probably isn't finished and the fact that unlike the bully trio, he's not trying to change makes me think that in the end he will alone, his sex-friend could do something but I feel like this is all setup for Riku to just get a bad ending, it's good that Moka and Ueno are still communicating and they will probably be on guard now when it comes to Riku, the only thing I can see possibly happening is if there's a situation where Moka goes out drinking or something and Ueno isn't around and Riku tries to take advantage of her then.
