I'm not entirely sure, but I think when she said red, it was a Pokémon reference. The game, not anime.

@goodie-bag It's possible, but that wouldn't be my first guess. Her dialogue uses 赤 (aka), the word "red," when the protagonist's name from Pokemon is written レッド (Reddo) in katakana, so I don't think it was intended as a reference to that.

But Nishihara carelessly said that she matched red underwear set.
