2,22,2 is just how many seconds this chapter lasts, like, seriously, it went by so fast!

The double page is such a bait lmao. A bit mad with it but it was a great race nonetheless and she's a good girl who deserves her win ! Thanks for the chapter !

If the anime adaptation uses 00s CGI animation and a Eurobeat soundtrack during the racing scenes, I wouldn't be surprised.

I implore you guys to actually watch the 1989 Japan Cup. Shit's effing fire with the actual race.

some little facts:
the Umamusume on the 10th and last page is Sunshine Forever. Obey copied her hard after deciding to enter 1988's JC after losing to her in Man O' War Stakes in September 1988.

Known by JP Umamusume fans as Emu Moto (Emulated Original)

I had to go back to see it. I didn't even notice the first time through and was confused about the winner. Good job by the author and artist.

it's great to see such detail added in since Oguri is ahead of Horlicks moments after crossing the finish line. :dogkek:

Oguri was actually closing hard in the last 100 meters as Horlicks was slowly losing momentum at the end. Still, Oguri was beaten by Neck's length.

Oguri might've won it if it was 100m longer.

Then again, it was G1 JAPAN CUP, Tokyo Turf 2400m. Not Arima Kinen.
