This has actually been really interesting and I learned some stuff. I'm not trans or anything myself but I thought the author did well in explaining things.

You don't have to be trans to appreciate someone who is making a highly detailed breakdown of the process, their experience, and adding some humor to keep it a bit entertaining and not terribly bland.

It's a shame there's a lot of morons who just can't stand these folks existing at all, though. Live and let live.

The ending was lackluster. I'm more curious about life after the SRS. Pretty educational overall though.

I don't know why it says it's completed and people talk as if it ended, when it's obvious that there is more. Maybe because every chapter has "end" on the last page?

@lilmagi - “Completed” means that the author has completed the series. That doesn’t necessarily mean that all chapters have been translated.

Have any of the mangaka’s other works been scanlated and uploaded to mangadex? If they are under her pre-procedure name, what was it?

How about you learn basic human decency and to stop using the tranny word?

GID, what a made-up disorder.
1st of all, there is no gender, the term gender is a social construct that came apart from its original terminology used in ethnology/archaeology (since we usually associate certain sexes with certain social positions and certain ritual burials).

There are only two sexes. Male and female. Since in human beings a functional hermaphrodite isn't possible, this even holds true for those people falsely listed as "intersexual"(they are not inbetween the two sexes, they have either one set or no fertile gonads).

The genes decide which sex you are, point.
There is no way to turn a man into a woman and vice versa.
You'd have to replace +- all genetic information regarding sex in the human via virus RNA/DNA to make that happen, and that's simply impossible in the born human.

This is the undeniable truth, yet the socialists and their stooges still sell people the idea they can become anything they want, be it e.g. dogs, the other sex or some multi-identity freak.

Such manga should wake up the people to reality, not sell them a stupid ideology that destroys their humanity and social identity forever.

SRS should be forbidden, if you look up its history it all goes back to some crazy guys who wanted to make scrupulous experiments on the human body(some of them were e.g. involved in studies on chemical castration of sexual predators in prison).
A lot of people who underwent SRS commit suicide shortly after because they realize the error they made yet can't go back, so they go into a downward spiral of depression and grief about their lost identity.

Imo it's ok to be you as long as you live according to your genetic identity (i.e. a man as a man and a woman as a woman).
Some women are less feminine and others are more, while some men are more masculine and others are less, who cares?

Just don't throw away the only biological identity you have to soothe some ideals/ideologies/whatever non-reasoning.
This world is way more tolerant towards people who embrace their biological identity than those who throw it away for personal&temporary gain, and that's a good thing, it's the way humanity survived for about 190000 years already.

Do you know the reason why gender dysphoria is classified as a legitimate thing and the standard treatment is to help people with it transition? It's because psychologists found that no other treatment method worked as well. And believe me, they tried. There're multiple scientific studies showing satisfaction with the results of surgery (and surgery isn't the be all and end all of gender transition anyways, there're a number of people who transition to living as their preferred gender but never get surgery). Overall, very few studies showed the respondents showing dissatisfaction with their surgeries. When you look at the big picture, it becomes more clear that depression and the like are almost certainly less related to the surgery itself and more to other issues. (The way they get treated by other people can be a factor, for example.) Oh, and there's that one study from that one guy who cited Catholic perspectives in his paper, which makes his agenda very clear.

Also, if you're going to cite that, you should know that there're a number of cultures that have acknowledged transgender/gender variant people and given them roles. But you're just cherry picking biology and social sciences to support your anti-transgender viewpoint.

Why are people who claim to hate this series even here? So weird ? 'I hate this story!' and yet you followed the updates and finished it? Can't relate. Normally, people just drop stories they don't like and move on with their lives.

@Loksel @Lilikoifish @OniBarubary
On MU there is another manga of hers registered
https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=147738
I suspect, and somewhat hope, that it is another piece of autobiography dealing with life after surgery:
the fact that it arrived after this supports the theory; it's not been scanlated yet.
No records about potential pre-surgery works:
I'm thinking that this was her professional debut, after illustrations or doujinshis.
If someone reads Japanese, there is her twitter; she seems a strong gamer

By the way, there is her email on there, you could ask herself directly about previous works

Yes, it was interesting and entertaining, especially first chapters. Congratulations for keeping regular issues.
Do you plan to scanlate her other manga ?
If you are interested, I found other interesting mangas on the same issue

@DjAlexDubCheck Thanks?

Maybe but a series will have to depend on if I can get any decent raws and or if I'm interested in premise/art or if a higher tier patron of mine requests it to be done.

Your comment has been found to violate rule 5.1, Be Civil. Your post was aimed solely at being insulting to other users by using a derogatory term, tranny. As I've mentioned in the report comment feature thread, I'll be fairly lenient on older comments reported, depending on the context of the post.

Please take this opportunity to read our rules here: https://mangadex.org/rules

Consider how to post more constructively in the future.

Thanks,

Zeph
