Thank you all for your lovely work on this series.

This story resonates for a couple of reasons, and it's funny because I can relate to Umiko-san for her lived wisdom and introspective observations and Kai and Umiko-san's classmates because I remember the halcyon days of my twenties so well, when the pain of your vulnerabilities felt more stark as you started to become a more fully realized person. Their late night walk and talk also felt very nostalgic.

Even though Kai's less outwardly expressive than his peers, his deep thoughts and considerations are communicated to us really well. I feel for him and hope he can remain strong throughout the days. I'm glad they have each other to turn to in times of crisis.

Thank you for doing such a painstakingly wonderful job of finding the raws, translating, cleaning, typesetting, working on the sfx, and doing quality control on this gem of a series and sharing the results with us, swaggoneers.

Thanks for a beautiful chapter and your hard work ! For the movie poster inspiration, I am really not sure but it kinda reminds me of The bucket list (2007) by Rob Reiner : two old men dying and deciding to do everything they wished to do before the end, and realising what's really important in life (themes about friendship, family/parents, greed/superficiality) so it kinda works i guess... Hope someone finds what the movie reference is ! (and same for the previous chapter it drove me crazy to not find anything !
