I know it says discord is the best place to contact mods but I'm unsure of how it works because it won't let me send a message to moderators so I'll try here ?

So I tried uploading for the first time since its been years since anyone uploaded the last chapter to creepy cat. I found the last one elsewhere, uploaded it. Thought it'd be cool but I guess not cause banned >-< not even a warning man. I won't upload stuff again but can I at least post a link where people CAN actually read the last chapter ? It was a pretty great manga.

I got it from weebcentral. I was surprised there even was a chapter missing until I found it there. I think just one person translates it? No one uploaded it here yet though for years, so I'm unsure what was wrong with finally putting it on.

Weebcentral is Mangasee, that's an aggregator site that rips content from other sources, and we have a rule against uploading content from aggregator sites.

Again, what group scanlated the chapter, what is the true original source, and why did you not credit them?

That's literally where I got it from. I assumed they did the translation. Since no one uploaded it here, I decided to so people could actually see the last chapter. I don't want to anymore though. Can I at least say where I read it in comments so people can just visit the website themselves? I didn't think this would be an automatic ban for a first offense >-< idk if I can be unbanned? I won't upload anything again

I don't think we can recommended some aggregator site here. I don't know where to read the rules about it, but please.. Just read on Mangadex or official site.

I dont care where I find it if it's a good translation. I think it's just no links in comments so I can just recommend where to read the full thing. But i wanted to make sure while im here talking to a mod anyway. Especially if it's been 3 years since the last post so obviously the translation group isn't uploading it anymore. I thought if I made a mistake with uploading, I'd just get a message like hey your upload wasn't approved and this is why and I'd be like okay cool, uploading isn't for me I guess but then boom banned xD

Mangadex has a rules and we have to follow it. I'm sorry if I can't give you much help.
And maybe the very formal way to continue some mangas scanlations is to contacts the group first? Or the uploader? Idk. It's just a polite way I could think of.
And if you want to ask mods on discord, maybe you can go to support section and ask about your account there. Idk if my advice could help you unban your account but I hope your account could be saved. Sorry if I'm meddling in here 🙇🏻‍♀️

Because it's the official release, which you screenshot and tried to upload here, and ignored the multiple warnings in the uploader about not doing this.

Directing people to pirated official rips is a bannable offence, as is uploading them.

I did not know it's a official release though? Found a website and saw that wow the manga wasn't actually complete. Why hasn't anyone uploaded this yet for years. So I just decided to do it right quick. I just wanted to share it because other people love the manga too. I wouldn't say I ignored it, because I thought I was just finding a random translation online. It was my first time uploading something and if there was a problem, which if anything maybe the pictures were too big, I thought I'd just be messaged about it. Not an automatic ban for a first time offense. I already said I wouldn't upload anymore, but I can't be unbanned because of that? Also, you're saying if a manga is incomplete on here, people can't even say where they can read it so they can actually finish the story? Wouldn't that be more against the reader looking to finish the manga?

Ah maybe I followed the wrong link to the discord. It says mangadex announcements instead. That could be why. Thanks for actually pointing that out. Yea but as a casual reader, that just did it because like argh why's this chapter not here! Didn't think it'd end in a ban. I did not realize how strict the place was with first time offenses. So people for the love of God do not upload anything unless you're really sure, just keep your casual reading, not worth it xD

Usually when a chapter doesn't have credits, it means it has either been stolen from a scanlator and had the credit pages removed (common practice for aggregators), or it's an official translation. There's a rule specifically that states "If you do not know who scanlated the chapter, do not upload it." (rule 3.3.2) You obviously didn't read it.

It was my first time uploading something and if there was a problem, which if anything maybe the pictures were too big, I thought I'd just be messaged about it. Not an automatic ban for a first time offense

There's currently no way for us to notify the users about anything regarding uploads, and even assuming everyone had a forum account (not the case most the time, and even if that was the case, most people don't actively look at forums), our only option is to apply a ban. Why a ban? because in most cases this means that the user didn't bother to read the multiple warnings on the website about uploading uncredited chapters and/or official translations, which again seems to be the case here.

MangaDex is already operating on a grayline and allowing users to link to other sites that could offer official translations for free is an liability issue.

You know, checking that manga in that site, there are no individual chapters, only volumes, and not only that in the covers, end-credits and a whole lot of pages the logo of the English Publisher is very identifiable, including contact info, did you think Seven Seas was an scanlation team?

Besides if you are worried about people not knowing that there is more, the entry has a link to the official publisher in the read or buy section, in the comments you could just make a heads up to them and being extra chapters, people will just check the official link or just google

I did make a comment saying there's another chapter missing. But being that it's been years, I thought OK I'll just do it right quick but nope. As I said before, I read wherever the translation is best. I don't pay attention to scanlation groups. It could be a scanlation group idk?? But the website was what I said and that's where i said i got it.
But I'm just gonna leave comment that a chapter is missing if that ever occurs nothing more. Which I've already said so unsure why you're bringing it up again? How am I supposed to tell an official from a fan translation when it's the first time I've done something like this? Now I do and apparently it's not cool here. Lesson already learned dude
