wait, this cold sleep syndrome is another case of pseudo-immortality! does the assassin from few chapters ago also have something to do with these snake whisperers??

Honestly, Samurai Cameroon is really cool. The scarf and mask is so extra and goofy but it is absolutely sick at the same time.
I wonder if Wynn's cold sleep syndrome has to do with Asclepius' immortality experiments. I also wonder what happened to Haiji's mentor figure (...?) whose silhouette was seen this chapter.
Kusumi's ideas of mono no aware seems to be in stark contrast with Asclepius' quest for immortality. Will the impermanence and value of human life be a theme going forward?
