Let’s put the logic together :

1.) Koji wants a clean slate after 70 years cycle according to Ranran. Koji also wants to sow chaos?

2.) In the old grandpa’s memory, when the Younger Old Seven were hanging out with the unknown Kumo. Kumo shush them when the person with invisible suit entered the apartment. So instead of warning, it was telling them to respect the big boss?

3.) Who ordered the vending machine for the Kumo apartment? Did Koji order it to have Kawado stay home more? Also, to give directive to Igarashi? Because Kawado in the original Japanese dialogue, she was using a skin related pun when she speak to him.

4.) It makes more sense now that how Kumo siblings have memories like “how they were born”. The youngest Kumo sibling (No.12) seems to feel something is off.

Is Koji really the big big bad? In one hand, the person just feel like he/she/they just want to stay on top of thing to survive.

To answer the first point, I don't remember when it was stated that Koji wants to sow chaos, that seems like the thing UN wants kato an co to do, and to answer the thing about wiping the slate clean, I guess that answers to the question as to why did Ten went out and killed one of the seven, her grandson thought that meant the Kumogakure were on the side of the Neo Seven, but might just being them answering the commands of their master (who I feel has a very high amount of control over them).
I say that because if you pay attention to both Kuro's and Nijiro's death, both started talking in a robotic voice just before that, like they lost their humanity and were just a machine, or a tool for whoever was controling them.

Nijiro didn't talk much and was literally more machine than man; everything he said was probably that way. Kuro spoke like a robot to try to throw Yamada off, and didn't have robotic thoughts as he was fighting.

That’s what Ranran said, right? Assuming she is working for Koji.

She said “That person” managed to get Old Seven to fight New Seven, the Gov v NIN basically everyone fighting… meanwhile That Person remians unharmed in the middle of it.

Sounds like Koji wants the whole place burn down and rebuild.

I guess the chaos UN wants from Kato is different from Koji then.

Or may be UN, being Kami, and Kami being Koji’s old guard, this is also part of the directive given to them?
