One of "I am Hero"s strengths was the broadness of the world-and I'm definitely getting that from this story too. Like, that executioner and their scumbag father's exchange? That has NOTHING to do with the main story, but it was still cool to see that the world of these ninja doesn't revolve around what our MC is dealing with-cogs are turning all the time, no matter what.

What the fuck is happening

Like each individual event kinda makes sense but when I string them all together I have no fucking clue what I'm watching

Yeah, this is the type of world building that makes a great story. To show that there is a whole world full of offscreen stories and exchanges that you'll probably never see or hear about again makes everything better.

Calling the father Scumbag would be a stretch. The vibe we're getting so far from the background is that the ninja world is not as rosy at it seems at the moment, and from what they imply, being a nukenin could be just going AWOL or just quitting. Hardly something you would call him scumbag for.

This series is so fire. I love the world-building and how casually everyone talks. Always such a seamless transition into exposition.

Yeah and like that lil girl who's been abused by his step father got a happy ending. Heck even Eita got to realize his dream of getting saved by a pretty blond chick. Soo much is going on but it's still digestible
