@NickD15 yep, he's made it clear to her that making her his wife is his primary objective. Her flags are being set whether she realizes it or not.

Also, definitely more going on with that murder, but I think the poor girl misinterpreted the victim. He wasn't looking at her in disgust, it was "wow I just had sex with that. I'm awesome!"

I am pretty sure she was just made up that reason to make her look so bad and cover something else entirely. Her partner might knew something he shouldn't knew so she doesn't have a choice other than killing him
