It's Takarai, so that could be the shogun or just his relative. "People" could mean actually killing, or just a womanizer. On the other hand. why else would Hina mention the shogun when asked that? It certainly could be more straightforward than many think... Aaarrgghhh! My head's hurting!!

There's definitely something up with Hina's death. Its weird that the shogun seems to know about yono but doesn't do anything about it and expects to see him again. Maybe the people he's "hunting" are who actually killed Hina. Too early to tell.

Ah, Ren-chan's type is clear.

The Duke of Death had a similar premise, so I shouldn't be surprised, but the plot actually mattering in a romcom-type manga does feel odd. It's great: we feel a push-pull too. We want to know why the other girl was killed, we want to understand who the shogun is and what they want and why anything happened, but we also root for the two to get together. It's a different dynamic than Duke, where we wanted to understand and solve the curse so the two could get together, but the plot actually mattering is still there.

At the start I kinda expected the revenge plot to be sidelined, but Im pleasantly surprised that it doesn't seem to be the case.

Hope this doesn't turn into Duke of Death and they stop the bad guy with "friendship". Don't get me wrong. I liked it, but I don't want a rehash.

I bet the reason why Hina muttered his name wasnt to signal it was him that killed her, just smth involving him. Pretty sure the actual killer is gonna be a plot twist, possibly a close friend of theirs.

My bet is that he's a wannabe "Lady Killer" that failed miserably and decided to fulfill it's double meaning instead, can't imagine it getting more complex than that
