I like this manga it has potential, but wouldnt it be better if they were a tad bit faster in terms of story ?
9 chapters in and none of the questions are answered, normally I would be quite salty when things get stalled but this one feels like it is strengthening the base right now so its not much a problem
but I will probably drop this if things stay the same in chapter 12 or so

Everyone liked The Duke of Death even though nothing about the curse was really revealed at first

pray for other's wishes to come true? What would she do if she lived? Fight for world piece? Just because she's dead and driving the plot doesn't mean you need to build her like a divine being, sort of over-glorifying dead political/religious figures. Give her regular characteristics you would give a normal likeable girl.

my main problem is not because story is not rapidly progressing, but there is some kind of mystery is out there and author is cashing out on peoples anticipation and doing nothing. this usually indicates author doesnt have anything to show at the moment and its bad at its job(again, mostly).
even if not for that, it will be quite worrying if its close to 1 year after manga serialization yet we are still as clueless in the 1st chapter
and considering there are manga out there getting canceled in 7 or so chapters this ought to do something to not share the same fate

I dont know what this manga direction is heading towards, but romcom cant be considered the same as the other manga in terms of progression so it cant be compared to other genre of manga. if romcom mangaka knows what he is doing he can make %80 of the chapters filler and everyone would still happily read it because main thing is not story or progression but getting the most out of every interaction and time period.

And many silently dropped it because it got hella drawn out. SoL will only take you so far when there's an overarching story behind.

with this being a romance manga it’s pretty likely they will get together but i hope he doesn’t fall for her simply because she is similar to hinaga or something… i hope he is able to look at her as her own person not just a memento of hinaga
