Call me old-fashioned, but Yume fraternizing with this Sui girl seems a tad bit inappropriate. Hama's been missing for, what, a month or two, tops? Back in my day it was considered appropriate to wait at least a year after losing a paranormal investigation partner before hitting the pavement and seeing if there were any unpaired supernatural detectives looking to make a commitment, and you'd usually be getting side-eyes if you waited any less than 18 months before showing up to a cosmic horror cult investigation with a new +1.

Yume seducing random girls with her giant milkers, unfaithful to the flat chested Hama.

Ahhhhh, boy. For anyone curious, a lot of cults do this kind of thing. You learn a specialized way of talking; which makes you more part of the 'in' of the cult, and less capable of talking to people outside the cult. You're rewarded for knowing it, and punished for not using it.... which they seem to have taken a more unusually efficient route then most cults, admittedly....

New girl is Izumi so she was killed before. Now she's here, which leaves us a few options. Mundanely, the death report could be fake. Supernaturally, she could be a ghost of some sort. It could be a trick from the cult, or another spiritual entity in a disguise, or maybe a guardian sent by the Q organization.

Likeliest option, because it's this mangaka we're talking about, is some complicated, unforeseen outcome. "The Izumi family didn't die, but they did become brains in jars through ritual ascension, and this body is their spiritual projection." Something like that.

Looking at the crowd chanting "po": oh no it's the cult of Hasshaku-sama

Jokes aside, I already weirdly like Sui and hope she doesn't die a horrible death. Though the Izumi family were stated to die from "pau" and "eh'he" which the glossary states mean "the act of approaching nothingness" and "to rank up". Given that reporter was reduced to a brain, my first thought is that means leaving the bodies an empty shell.

...Which would conveniently leave the bodies ready for occupation by others. Hmm. I'm okay with Sui possibly being some cosmic horror possessing the empty body. Whoever or whatever she is, she just seems cool to me.
