They planned to understand the human brain....the knowledge of it drove them mad and going after any idiot who tried to come in there. And what's worse? Their perfect success doesn't even do anything (or so they thought)
Is the perfect success doing something? , i often miss the small detail

Edit: i understand what the perfect success do he use his power to scare the other test subjects so technically the perfect subject doing something but the scientists not realize it. That way other test don't dare to climb stare. I just realize it when I read it again. The two mc pretty lucky the perfect test subject not interested in them

I wonder if we get to see later the people/organization that backed these crazies (or maybe they have showed up or even Q subsidiary). Cause, presumably none of the work or “people” (if we can still call them that) would be able to persist without external support.

Also, at least Chacha is not dead, when there was that foreboding line ages ago about her, I thought the next time they “meet” she would have turned into an occult phenomenon or simply dead.

More like the perfect success found doing anything is trifling for a perfect being that he doesn't want to do anything...or he's beyond their comprehension that they tried to do it again...and go insane from the revelation.

given how the panels are structured in the first page, it has to be some kind of meta observation. so it's either looking at them as if it's a viewer, or it's the other way around, looking at the viewers.

perfect succ isnt doing anything. its incredibly powerful so the other monsters are scared of it but it considers itself so much more advanced that it doesnt bother with puny humans. literally cbf.

kind of like how humans dont bother interacting with protozoa

Think @ieatass69 is onto something. Not for the psychic success since it is looking at the rat, but rather for the perfect success. The perfect success is always shown as looking right at the viewer, or us, it's likely that he realized it's in a fictional world? So there's no point in actually doing anything, and that's why he never moved, as said in p.15.

Still mildly confused about the ones shown in the "mental" success room in Chapter 96 though, wonder how exactly are they perfect in mind?

Also that remark at p.14 of Chapter 96, "It doesn't feel like random scribbles." Can't really find anything special from them though.

Phew, okay at least Chacha is alive, tho it's a double edged sword in trusting Tokiko to help her, then again gray job stuff is gray job stuff. I do wonder if the psychic succsess was aware of Yume and Hama ? I assume so since the panels were stitch connected, but ig it didn't take interest or found them hostile/annoying as the rat squeaking. As for the perfect one, i am leaning to it actually stopping the test subjects from moving further for whatever reason, i guess those doctors are unaware of it being the one stopping them, so they are still trying to unlock that brain potential but to no avail ? Not sure tbh

I would say that the mental success floor meant that they succeeded in linking their minds. That's why they responded in unison, but only as a reaction that would be ingrained in most people -- to say hi back when hello'd. They likely aren't capable of functionally making decisions since they're completely connected mentally across several bodies, beyond what a human is meant to operate let alone so many wills.
