Yep, but these characters always have a grudge to mc, eventually they will gain more "evil" powers just to piss him and people around him off or for the worse killing people around (shitty heroes you know). But is just my personal opinion.

They knew he stole the stone, but he never told them that he stole if off of the Demon Lord, they thought while they were fighting he was off robbing the place.

Not always. I can't remember if it is the case in this one, or if we're in mid-lategame, but sometimes, the zamaa is "With their abilities stolen, they're considered worthless, thrown away, and die, possibly years later, in despair."
