Bruh, he turned the underlings into girls. The glasses are a good look for Kongou, though.

Man, so many people in comments whining how he did the twins dirty by making them look a bit more feminine. Masculinity doesn't equal attractiveness to women, just look how popular boy bands are. The men there are far from masculine and women still cream themselves over them. Not saying masculinity is inherently unattractive, just saying that looking a bit feminine isn't really a bad thing. Different strokes for different folks.

There is a shocking amount of heart in this series; way more than I ever expected it to. Atsumu's outlook on life and other people is something worth commending, and it honestly keeps this otherwise mediocre series from floundering. I wasn't expecting the "delinquents" to actually have that much depth to them (they were just dudes who misunderstood themselves and tried to be what they weren't all because of society's general opinion on guys who look like them), and Atsumu handling everything like a fucking adult (actually talking shit out instead of the one-note "beat up delinquents, go about business" that's so commonplace) is exceedingly refreshing.

My initial gut feeling on this wasn't wrong. Let's hope that things will get better with time, story-telling wise. At least, it felt like this chapter actually had some fucking meat to chew on and savor instead of being thrown leftover scraps with a few new tidbits.

I'll just chock up the first volume of this manga to be typical "new mangaka doesn't know how to fucking start a story" and is now getting into their stride.

I'm really liking this, it seems very fresh to me. It may not be original, but I've not seen anything it could be cloning. I've even started reading the awful google translate of the web novel, but that is hard going. I wish I could find a fan translation of it.

There is fan translation site, it has around 60 chapters, but only 45 of them are free.

Can't really blame the artist on this since it's a LN adaptation.

After the makeover, I thought the 2 henchmen were actually henchwomen, just not "dressed properly". I had to read back a few pages to confirm that they're guys. But where's the fun in that? I will say instead, Kongou, congrats on getting a harem of your own. :pacman:

ah man, this part is just so cringe for me
Yeah same.
It would be somewhat ok if mc were parrying the big dude's strike, but no~ mc had to literally grab the strike & kill its momentum from literal no stance.

Not even Ayasaki Hayate from Hayate no Gotoku is this OP.
I know this comparison may come out of nowhere. But I can't shake off the parallels between them lmao.

Nah, I'm so tired of those wimp bullied mc who always got beaten up without even trying to fight and also don't compare real life logic to manga or anime it's refreshing to see slice of life genre MC can actually fight.

Okay starting to see why he got kicked out by his sisters and mom lol.

JK, but c'mon, can't he have one thing he's actually bad at?
Yea that's I hate about these types of mangas, in the beginning he gets kicked out for being "useless" when in reality he's absolutely flawless as a character

ITS SO FUCKING STUPID
