I wanted the triangle resolved. I wanted to move on with the plot. Not like this.

I feel a little dumb for not seeing this coming. Not sure if author is good, or I missed all the signs. Would like to know others opinions.

@dotawolfbrother Tiger is considered dangerous by Rat. Sword used twice to create yokai. Slasher had special sword in one instance, but rabbit had no such thing when captured. Memory misdirection is a thing. Victims were all connected to Twelve. Youkai power is influenced by fable it represents. Tiger girl and Cow girl were close. I think those are hints. It's much easier to see when reading in one go.

If the ox and tiger both need to be sacrificed to make one ogre out of the ox, wonder what exactly happens to the tiger. Doesn't feel like the right time for her to actually die, sacrificially or otherwise, so just gravely wounded for now? Considering the circumstances here and leading up to it (that question about how the cat was perceived sticks out in particular, but it could also have been about her mom who appeared to be making quite a mess out of that cellar with claw marks), I suppose she's also probably turning into a youkai at the moment, just not an ogre.
