There are no typos. The text is mirrored/flipped. I wasn't aware I could do that here. As another replied, reading the poem is a requirement for truly understanding both the snark and boojum metaphors
Do you not think mispelling "had" as "dah" (even if we don't bother to consider how it used outright incorrect [aka upsidedown] characters) is a typo? Either way I think my sentiment was clear - that the mystery needs to be spoiler-tagged so we do not ruin it for other ppl visiting the comments.
And so I would've gotten to try and figure it out myself too, once I at least knew what character was being used and not stuck only seeing illegible handwriting.

Though I understand if you didn't know about upside-down unicode, that you could only supply the spoilered version and not the cleaned unspoilered one. So the only really applicable part is the one protecting others.

"The poem"? There is no such text in the poem, and I don't know if I would even call it as such. It was literally only 2 lines in a single panel, and no poem was secretly placed elsewhere. Or I failed to spot it.
The Hunting of the Snark is a famous nonsense poem. Your earlier interpretation seemed confused; these are both words with definitions in the poem.

I think there is a misunderstanding. The 2 lines come from a larger poem (not shown in the manga) called “The Hunting of the Snark” by Lewis Carroll, as spotted by th3odora earlier. When I referred to “the poem,” I was talking about that. The lines used are a quotation from something not written by the author of Otherside Picnic.

I LOVE THIS ARCH, the way the liminal spaces help them actually know each other and tearing off their barriers, the emptiness forcing them to face themselves without excuses. Also the methaphor of mirrors as a way of accepting that you’ve changed along side someone you care about is just chef’s kiss without mentioning how beautiful it is to look for your lover in your own reflection, I could talk hours about it 😩👌

TIL not wanting to have the mystery novel's mysteries spoiled [outside of spoiler-tags], is considered being entitled. Particularly when one is also looking out for and trying to protect other readers besides oneself, too.

Again, I do not think demanding (which is a strong word for requesting) people use spoiler tags in a mystery novel, is being entitled in any way.

And a fair warning, you might want to be more careful with your language as while those words are unrelated to me and I can thus take it without being affected, there are absolutely people that would get hurt when they see someone talk like that (particularly when aimed at inappropriate targets with the intent to insult). I didn't report your messages (since I get that your intent wasn't to demean anyone and was merely to ragebait), but be aware that you are going rather solidly against the forum rules there, and might want to reel yourself in a bit in the future. If not for others sake, then at least for your own?

ps: yes I was not aware there was a real life poem. And that is exactly why back then I reacted with :helpful: to the post that explained that. I do not thing that [ignorance] is considered being entitled either?

Late to this but eh who cares. I just disagree with you calling it a "mystery" and treating it as if it's a plot important spoiler. That isn't what it is, it's just a reference to a old English poem in Toriko's English Lit. classroom. You can find your own interpretation for its placement in the story by reading the poem in full, but otherwise it's just an easter egg.
