It feels so sinister, yet so earnest at the same time. Jun is so genuine in his efforts, but the perspective we're in makes everything feel like it has hidden motives. It's wonderfully written.

The most special thing ab this manga is its gruesome yet captivating depiction of 'intimacy' because its just so real and raw, especially in the pov of the depressed mangaka. Yaharu slowly accepting the care of another person is portrayed by him getting physically hooked by a rod, entrenching his VERY skin. Like ykw HELL YEAH, because who wouldn't be hooked by a sense of security, warmth and comfort?😭😭
