The alternative would be to throw it away, give the chocolate to some other boys or man, which is equally rude, or let it to rot inside your fridge. All of them are equally rude from the perspective of the girl but that's just how it is. If you give chocolate to someone that isn't into you, it's what you get, and honestly the girl would just take the hint that he isn't into her anyway, she didn't mind about what happened to the chocolate, she just want to see the boy's reaction. Plus and for the receiver, any actions that they took in the scenario that they didn't love the one that gave the chocolate would be seen as disrespectful by someone else. Damned if you do, damned if you don't

Hmm, so his family name is Kashiwagi. And that's most likely Honmei (with romantic feelings) chocolate he brought home, from a girl who admired him. She even had a letter trying to convey this. Whoever that girl is, too bad for her.

Shiro is extremely cute as usual, and makes my heart hurt at the thought of the dark things this author has in store for that "sequel" he's making. But I wouldn't worry too much here.

This main story is already finished, if you wanna spoil yourselves it's all there on Pixiv up to ch. 17 (that's the final main story chapter, not counting the two non-H extra chapters in the compilation). So I'm pretty sure we already know nothing bad is going to happen, at least in this main story arc. Everyone worried should be worried about the sequel, not this.

The H stuff from E-H or some aggregator being smugly shown around is actually a compilation of chapters 0-9 + a 4-page preview of a sequel the author is working on. プレビュー版 (Preview Ban) in the title literally means "Preview version"

Regarding the NTR:

The author (NTR and rape enthusiast and artist) stated that there is "another version" and "prelude(?)"(in a really ambiguous way), calling it "the other owner". That one is already out and she ends up being a prostitute, going all the way. The act itself is seen. Readers speculate it is the club also shown in this manga. Author also said on socials that they really wanted to draw NTR of a "certain rabbit girl" and, at a later date, asequel to that one. Peeps are coping that there is some different names involved or that it ain't canon etc. Feels like heavy cope to me as the author seems to have randomly included NTR and rape involving the FL many times before. Tbh, author literally just wants to draw NTR of their female characters and even says it like that. That's all there is to it. No deeper thinking should be involved. The ACTUAL ending is whatever the author wants it to be and I believe it is not the "happy" one.
