Kyouko's Mallet is ....canonically OP then, it would seem.
Assuming I'm reading it right, that makes Kyouko the reason all the Moon Rabbits can even "reproduce" via Ends, then, yeah?
And it still only got her #4 in rank. Which makes you wonder what numbers 3 through 1 all did, if "saving Moon Rabbits from extinction" doesn't break into bronze medal level accomplishments.



I guess Izuko's senpai is still in there, though, then. Yue leaving Higana's consciousness intact and simply stripping her of her will feels pretty appropriate, given everything we've learned about Yue's personality. Wanting to break Izuko more than she wanted to hurt Higana, that's the sort of thing I'd expect of her.
It'll be interesting to see what Kyouko manages to pull off. She's not big on self-sacrifice, clearly, so I don't see her offering up her life to save Higana & thus Izuko.
But she also thinks of Izuko as a friend now, too, so maybe this conversation with Higana is foreshadowing her own inclinations toward adopting new behaviors.
