I feel this can only go one of three ways:

1: Romance.
2: Self improvement and just general healing of mental and physical well-being.
3: Coping mechanism, she never existed. (movers didn’t notice her)
(I’ll acknowledge that his friend heard her, but I probably shouldn’t theorize on chapter 1 anyways)

I’m hoping for #1 or #2 but I’m not going to be surprised if it’s #3.

I have a feeling that this guy lost his entire family in some accident, including a little sister, and this Usapyon is like his little sister’s spirit trying to get him to live his life having fun, instead of feeling like nothing’s worth doing since we will all die one day.
