There's a panel in 268 where Baku makes a face similar to Leader's. Threw me off too, don't know if it means anything though. It could just be how the author draws young characters.

When the person in the flashback and Baku first met, Kyara was the person's referee. As for whether he was the personal referee is yet to be seen. The flashback and the way the person is speaking would imply to me that Baku took someone else's Kakerou membership and came back for a rematch as a member of Kakerou. But this is Yakou's first time meeting Baku. I wonder what he knew this whole time.

Maybe this is around the first time the surpassing the leader challenge was taken? Baku got his winnings from this person and then went on to challenge the leader.

i re read chapter 63 where this guy is first mentioned.... Baku wasnt wearing a suit and he had his hair messed up. in 63 was it there first meeting and in this flashback its their first official kakerou meeting with personal referees?
