That Midara face is rich. He's probably a bit annoyed that Yakou hasn't reacted. I wonder what he's expecting to collapse now? Looks to be something in regards to the island itself.

In the small flashback to them looking at the festival, it makes it look like Kyara was looking at Kaji. It's nice to imagine he gained respect for Kaji over the events that took place between the Labyrinth and now.

On the actual topic of the war, Tipa should soon be getting another 4-5 or so high class players, particularly Marco, and then with the outlaws I don't think he's particularly at a big disadvantage. This assumes Arata isn't about to do something extremely damning to him, at least.

Arata is planning something big since years and Lalo and Baku just helped him, that's my feel.

Also I chuckle every time Fukurou is shown in shadows. We already know what he looks like.

Considering the situation, I can't help but think Lalo is the one with the biggest advantage. BK has more advantages in-game with more allies, and probably soon also more high lvl players on his side. He also has control over the Outlaws (although Arata is up to something extremely shady, he's getting info directly from the manager of the island so he's definitely plotting something. I also think he could be aware of Lalo's plan of invading the island), and seems to be aiming for Shoudo, which means he'll grief the high lvl players from Shoudo until Nobuko (or Souichi, if he doesn't predict the situation beforehand) has almost no players left, or they retreat into the castle like Neronero did. With this, I can see BK being in the superior position, having more high lvl players, control of the Outlaws, etc. The only thing he would be missing is a higher lvl than Nobuko (but there will probably will be a way around this), and although I don't think Souichi will let Shoudo be overtaken so easily, I think there's a good chance that BK will do so anyway. So things seem to be going in BK's favor, but that's only until Lalo's reinforcements arrive (which is why he thought that they should enjoy the game while they still can), at which point the game will be completely turned on its head. BK may still have a chance depending on the size of Lalo's army in comparison to the Outlaws' size (even so, it's debatable to what extent Arata really intends to let BK have control over them) but at this point it'll be a full out war, almost nothing to do with the game's mechanics. Kakerou, the Island, the Outlaws, and Ideal will all have battles, which will likely lead to a game to the death between BK and Lalo. So things will get extreme very soon. Also, Baku really is a complete gambling addict. The fact that he had a real attachment to Kyara (and Kaji for that matter) makes their "loss" have real weight, and thus betting on the things he gained through those "losses" (the throne) that much more exciting for him. Lalo either understands him well or completely misunderstands him, but considering how things are going, I'm thinking that he definitely sees through Baku to some extent.

Even before factoring the Outlaws, it's noteworthy that Kakerou will immediately act once Lalo's forces show up too. If Kakerou (Midara, really) is worried/paranoid about external forces, I believe they'll bring in even more referees than the current...11? on the island at this moment. That's quite a fighting force when you consider the strength all the referees have. That said, this is Lalo we're talking about, if he brings in the whole of Ideal, even Kakerou would struggle.

If the conflict with Ideal is coming to a head, I wonder if we will ever get to learn of what happened to No. 90. Or did we already know? Last I remember he was seen was in the presence of Caracal overlooking the Grand Canyon?

Also the fact that author is still blatantly shading Fukurou's face despite all is really suspicious.

Hal has a way of making me root for his allies hard, they seem so straightforward and honest it's hard to not root for a character like that vs Baku and Lalo. Even if she's being used by Hal, Nobuko just seems to really want to play the game as it was intended.

Nobuko's level is probably easily mitigated if they can get Marco up to High Class since he's superhuman and I doubt she could ever touch him. They would need Hal to wear the vest to fight back. Lalo presumably doesn't have any real muscle left with Caracal/Voja/Jonglyo dead (and Robert K exiled) and would likely have to win with a Fukurou gamble (definitely getting a rematch between him and Hal).

To be honest, outside of the initial Colosseum scam, I'm wondering what Marco's role on the island is. There isn't a person left for him to openly fight unless they bring in another Ideal superhuman, and he would get absolutely dummied in a gamble against Fukurou or Lalo. Perhaps he's just there to wipe out all of Shoudou's high class players effortlessly.

Since reinforcements are showing up in the near future because of Lalo leaking the island's location, Marco may have his opponent from said reinforcements. Of course, him as a high class just slaughtering dozens of Shoudo high classes would be fun to see too.

Kushinada is probably dead at this point to be honest. Or maybe Fukurou is actually Kushinada(!)
Kidding aside, the fact that we've clearly seen Fukurou very recently(in universe) in the video does make it suspicious that the author is shading him at all still. Maybe it's because we've already seen him at some point in this arc, but disguised?
