Kaji and Baku coming up with the same bullshit excuse to make their referees do something, and then the referees actually agree to do it. Goddamn, that's a beautiful relationship. Is Kadokura the one thinking about "member" and "exclusive referee"? It makes sense, considering Yakou's already had that revelation like 100 chapters ago. I wonder if this means Kadokura is officially Kaji's referee, even over Yakou.

The whole referee thing still confuses me as well.

I mean, I figured Nowa would be Kaji's referee since he came in contact with him first. But if I recall correctly, if a referee is already exclusive to someone else, then they can't be for others (or can only be a back up referee and nothing more?). Maybe that's the case for Nowa? That'd explain why Yakou and Nowa aren't, and Kadokura is for Kaji.

I think Kadokura is only Kaji's exclusive referee for the duration of Ban. If you recall the Abandoned Mine Game, when Baku was still not a member, it was made clear that Yakou was Kaji's exclusive ref there.
